Zero-retention bedside translator
The bedside translator at /translate operates under a strict zero-retention architecture. When you type text or speak into the microphone, the audio and text are processed in transit by our translation and speech-to-text providers and are not stored, logged, or written to any persistent Vozco database, file store, or analytics system.
- No user-typed text is saved.
- No transcribed patient speech is saved.
- No translated audio is saved.
- No inputs are used to train, fine-tune, or improve any language model.
- The “Clear session” button immediately flushes all in-memory state in your browser.
Training module
The training module (/train) loads pre-authored, non-PHI clinical sentences. When you play a sentence for the first time, an audio rendition is generated and cached so that subsequent plays are instant and do not re-bill the speech provider. The cache contains only the public training content — never user inputs.
No PHI
Vozco is designed not to receive Protected Health Information. You are responsible for avoiding directly identifiable patient data in any free-form input.
Cookies & analytics
We use only essential storage required for the application to function. We do not place third-party advertising or behavioral tracking cookies.
